MICHAEL J JACKSON as
Colin Pilkington
Michael is most well known for his controversial, headline grabbing storyline
in Channel 4’s 'BROOKSIDE' in which he discovered his son and daughter
were having an incestuous affair. He began his career as a stage actor,
working in many of the countries leading repertory theatres including
Sheffield, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Bristol. In London he
then appeared in several plays at the Hampstead Theatre and in the West
End, in addition to two seasons at the Royal National Theatre. He played
Ollie Simpson in Brookside for three years. More recently, Michael has
been busy on both stage and screen. He has appeared alongside Gina McKeein
'THERES ONLY ONE JIMMY GRIMBLE', supported Martin Shaw in three series'
of the BBC's 'JUDGE JOHN DEED', as well as appearing in a series of the
BBC soap 'DOCTORS' and also performing in a West End play directed by
Rowan Atkinson.
ELIZABETH ELVIN as
Denise Pilkington
Liz began her career in 1980 with a supporting role in Michael Cimino's
follow up to 'THE DEER HUNTER', 'HEAVENS GATE'. Since then she's combined
work in Television, Stage and
Film with roles in BBC's 'STATE OF PLAY', a number of play's including
'A PATCH OF BLUE' and a leading role as 'BERNADETFE' in the forthcoming
feature film 'WICKHAM ROAD', a humorous and heart-warming family story
directed by Oliver Nash.
SARA CORNFORTH as
Telephone Operator
A graduate of the ITALIA
CONTE ACADEMY OF THEATRE ARTS, Sara's favourite roles since graduating
are Mother Courage in 'MOTHER COURAGE AND HER CHILDREN' at the Avondale
Theatre and Izz Huett in 'TESS OF THE D'URBERVILLES' at the Landor Theatre.
More recently Sara has performed in Dubai, playing various characters
in John Godbers 'Lucky Sods'."
